Here at PNW.Zone, we have been utilizing the Open Collective platform to accept US tax deductible donations via the Open Collective Foundation 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor. Unfortunately, Open Collection Foundation is closing down[1] which means we will need to migrate to a new fiscal sponsor to continue to collect tax deductible donations.

Some key facts know at the time of writing:

1. We can continue to accept donations until March 15, 2024.
2. We can spend any collected funds all the way through September 30, 2024.
3. We are in the process of finding a new fiscal sponsor to continue to collect future donations.
4. The migration process is not clear yet, but once a new fiscal sponsor is found we will communicate the process.
5. All donors with active recurring donations will receive an email notifying you that your donations are paused.

We appreciate all your support through this transition. Each and every donation is impactful to the operations of PNW.Zone as we currently collect less funds than the cost of operations.
